This morning at today's General Membership meeting, the following UFLAC Fire Foundation scholarship and grants were awarded:

With 48 applicants, we had the largest pool of applicants ever. We're proud to support any firefighter and their loved ones in pursuing their academic and professional goals. In attendance at today's meeting was Kayla Ferreras and her family. Kayla is pursuing her bachelor's degree in nursing.

This event provides us with an opportunity to raise founds so that we can assist firefighters in need, along with supporting our scholarship program that supports firefighters and their loved ones to pursue academic and professional career goals. The UFLAC Fire Foundation, a non-profit organization designed to support firefighters and their families, is proud to announce another round of scholarship award winners. These individuals come from local firefighter families and they applied for UFLAC Fire Foundation scholarships to assist in their educational and career pursuits.
